Ever since she won her first art contest in elementary school a portrait of her mother Deann Hebert knew her future was as an artist. After receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Auburn University, Hebert continued to pursue her studies at The London Institute, Chelsea College of Art & Design and Central St. Martin's College of Art & Design. Just a few years later, Hebert s creations began to gain the attention of art fanatics and collectors throughout the United States. Developing work described as  warm, fun and energetic, her unique, impasto-style paintings wherein the paint is applied so thick that brush strokes are often visible Hebert was voted "Best Local Visual Artist" by The Nashville Scene® in 2009. That same year, she was a featured artist at Nashville s esteemed Harding Art Show, and today, she works out of her studio an old factory building converted into a modern workspace in historic Franklin, Tennessee.
